An unknown species once existed in a parallel universe. They built a spacecraft which at some point crashed and became linked with the Fancy, a sailing ship from Earth in the 1890s. All of the members of the species on-board the ship died from a disease, which the Eleventh Doctor claimed to be a common cold. (TV: The Curse of the Black Spot)
