From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Behind the scenes
- Last Contact was central to Lance Parkin's picture of the War.
- In Parkin's rejected pitch for the BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures novel Enemy of the Daleks, a massive alliance was dedicated to fighting the enemy and avoiding Last Contact. It was led by the Doctor's father, Ulysses, who worked at Berkeley. The Kaleds were a large part of this alliance.
- In Parkin's short story Fishy Business in Perfect Timing 2, Danny the Fish notices that Bernice Summerfield's timeline has been interrupted so that she is romantically involved with the Eighth Doctor. He worries to Mister Saldaamir that this might mean the Doctor has made Last Contact.
- In Parkin's rejected entry to The Book of the War about Mister Saldaamir, Saldaamir has seen the future and is worried about Last Contact.
