Burdon was a Canavitchi agent.
When Kyla O'Shaugnessy could not transmit over the Internet the Jex invasion plans she had stolen, she put them on a CD-ROM. Then she went to Japan and gave the disk to Burdon. He flew to Australia and went to a small border town in the Northern Territories. He walked five miles away from the town and gave the disk to the next person in the transport chain.
