The Ashla shock-troops were posthuman cyborg soldiers created and designed by the Silversmith's Coterie. They had bulky silver armour which was elegantly decorated. Spiny crests ran down their backs. Their heads were flattened, with the brains relocated elsewhere.

The Rivera Manuscript described soldiers resembling Ashla shock-troops attacking a Homeworld at the start of the War, but there was no instance in documented posthuman history where shock-troops could have done this. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
