While getting away from the sentient oil, the Twelfth Doctor went to a planet located at the other end of the universe from Earth to find out how long it would take for the oil to get there.
The TARDIS landed on the planet 23 million years into the future before heading into the past to the Dalek-Movellan War. (TV: The Pilot)
Behind the scenes
- Scenes on this planet were filmed in CEMEX's Taffs Well quarry, just outside of Cardiff. This same quarry was also the Ood Sphere in The End of Time.
- It was also the actual quarry in Children of Earth: Day Two, which Jack is dropped into by forklift. This was also the location used for House in The Doctor's Wife.
