Alex was a psychic spy. He convinced Allison Williams that she was married to him. He caused Ian Gilmore to learn about how to launch the nuclear weapons. Toby Kinsella thought he had gone mad. He killed the crew of the submarine. He tried to overtake Rachel Jensen's mind using images of her mother and he did the same with Kinsella which his school masters. He wanted to use the nuclear weapons to create a new world. (AUDIO: Troubled Waters)
