Chris Benton

Chris (short for Christopher) Benton was the brother of John Benton. In contrast to John, he did not want to be a soldier like their father.
In 1944, while the two boys were playing in the woods outside Bolton, Chris fell from the high wall of a ruined tower to his death. John tried to save him, but failed. He blamed himself for his brother's death.
In the 1970s, while transporting radioactive cargo near Bolton, Benton was haunted by the ghosts of Chris and their father until he freed himself from his guilt and returned to his post. (HOMEVID: Wartime)
