Severance of Skaro
The Severance of Skaro was a major battle fought during the Last Great Time War. Skaro was the homeworld of the Daleks, the race that fought the Time Lords in the war. The severance was later mentioned in a book covering the history of N-Space, which listed the severance between the Night of the Reborn and the Resurrection Breach. (PROSE: The Whoniverse)
Though planet survived until at least the day before the end of the war, (PROSE: The Day of the Doctor) Skaro was devastated by the conflict, (PROSE: The Whoniverse) and Dalek Caan would state the world was "destroyed in a great war". (TV: Daleks in Manhattan) Eventually, the Daleks restored the planet. (TV: The Witch's Familiar) Though the historical book speculated it could be a different world renamed Skaro, (PROSE: The Whoniverse) Davros stated it was in fact his homeworld.
