A narrative trailer advertising series 11 of Doctor Who featuring the Thirteenth Doctor standing in a great hall was broadcasted on the 7 September 2018.

- This trailer features new, specially filmed material, showing the Doctor in a glass ceiling hall as the glass breaks and come crashing down around her.
- As the glass crashes down, we zoom in on the Doctor as she says "whoops".
- The trailer features the song Glorious by Macklemore and Skylar Grey.
- The breaking glass ceiling is a metaphor for the first woman, Jodie Whittaker, to take on the role of the Doctor.
- The teaser notably received fan criticism for exactly that reason, having been said to be too "in your face" and "on the nose".
