This topic might have a better name.

The official sheet music that comes as a PDF with the CD simply refers to this song as "Goodnight", so maybe Goodnight (song) would be more appropriate?

Talk about it here.

"Goodnight, Professor Litefoot" was a song sung by Ellie Higson after George Litefoot left her at a bar to return to the New Regency Theatre. She sang because she was near the Scorchies.

Goodnight, Professor Litefoot. Sometimes you’re not so bright.
Fear not, Professor Litefoot, I’ll make sure it all ends right.
As for now, farewell, adieu, my time has come to disappear.
I’ll be fine, no chorus line would be complete without me here.
Goodnight, Professor Litefoot. Just for once I’d love to stay.
Perhaps in time I’ll get my dues, but maybe not today.

Henry Gordon Jago sang a short reprise of the song. (AUDIO: Encore of the Scorchies)
