Talk about it here.

Sonic devices were devices which used sonic technology.

Sonic devices owned by the Doctor

The Doctor and several of their companions possessed sonic screwdrivers. Throughout their lives, the Doctor's sonic screwdriver had different shapes and colours. (TV: Fury from the Deep, The Day of the Doctor, The Pilot) However, they all used the same software. (TV: The Day of the Doctor)

According to one account the First Doctor didn't understand the purpose of using sonic devices, and criticized his future self for using them. (TV: Twice Upon a Time) According to another, however, he himself possessed a sonic screwdriver. (PROSE: Venusian Lullaby) The Fifth Doctor recounted an incident in which he used a sonic wrench to heal Vansell of a broken leg during an attempt to climb Mount Cadon during their time together as students at the Prydonian Academy. (AUDIO: Devil in the Mist)

The Fifth Doctor had a device called a sonic prodder, although he didn't consider it a tool like "his beloved sonic screwdriver" (PROSE: Falling from Xi'an) He also kept a Molenski Univarius in the TARDIS for repairs. He described it as a Gallifreyan "Swiss Army knife". While exploring the Axis, he carried it with him and used it in the same fashion as later models of the sonic screwdriver, once even using the sonic properties to fend off creatures with sound waves before it ran out of power and was discarded. (AUDIO: The Axis of Insanity)

The Sixth Doctor once used a sonic lance to defeat Cybermen. It was similar in function to the sonic screwdriver, but as a weapon instead. (TV: Attack of the Cybermen)

In his eighth incarnation, despite having lost his memories, the Doctor built a device he called a sonic suitcase using technology from Earth in the 1980s. (PROSE: Father Time)

The Eleventh Doctor used a sonic cane to scan the Teselecta and to contact Amy Pond and Rory Williams, who were miniaturised inside it. (TV: Let's Kill Hitler)

While in the Prison, the Twelfth Doctor created a sonic spoon when his sonic screwdriver was destroyed by the Governor. He created it from items in the Prison workshop and a spoon he took from mealtime. (PROSE: The Blood Cell)

The Twelfth Doctor eventually grew tired of using sonic screwdrivers and instead created a pair of sonic sunglasses. (TV: The Witch's Familiar) He later started using sonic screwdrivers again, with a new model. (TV: The Husbands of River Song) However, he still made use of the sonic sunglasses on multiple occasions, (TV: The Pilot, Twice Upon a Time) notably when he became blind. (TV: Oxygen, Extremis, The Pyramid at the End of the World)

Other sonic devices

Susan Campbell used a sonic wand on a mission to 1963 Shoreditch during the Last Great Time War. (AUDIO: The Shoreditch Intervention)

Sally Morgan used a sonic lockpick. (AUDIO: Afterlife)

On Darillium, the Twelfth Doctor gave River Song a sonic screwdriver, (TV: The Husbands of River Song) which was used by the Tenth Doctor to upload her into the main computer of the Library. (TV: Forest of the Dead) Before this, she used a sonic trowel, which the Twelfth Doctor found "embarrassing". (TV: The Husbands of River Song) Romana also had a screwdriver, which she built herself. (TV: The Horns of Nimon)

Missy possessed a sonic umbrella, which she used against the Cybermen aboard the Mondasian colony ship. (TV: The Doctor Falls)

Toshiko Sato created a sonic modulator using stolen and incomplete UNIT design plans. (TV: Fragments)

While the sonic screwdriver was occasionally called such, (TV: Doomsday) a sonic probe was a separate device, for the most part. Amy Pond made one while trapped on Apalapucia for thirty six years. Although, she eventually called it a screwdriver at the Doctor's insistence. (TV: The Girl Who Waited)

Miss Foster had a sonic pen with a design similar to the Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver. The Doctor pointed out that its design was sleeker than his sonic screwdriver's. (TV: Partners in Crime)

At some point, the Doctor gave Sarah Jane Smith the sonic lipstick, (PROSE: The Shining Man) which she used during her investigations and adventures with the Bannerman Road gang. (TV: Invasion of the Bane, Revenge of the Slitheen, et al.)

Jack Harkness mentioned there were sonic disruptors and cannons. (TV: The Doctor Dances)

Iris Wildthyme owned several sonic devices, such as the Sonic corkscrew (AUDIO: Iris Wildthyme and the Claws of Santa) and a Sonic shower. (PROSE: Enter Wildthyme)
