The Outlaws (audio anthology)

The Outlaws was a full cast audio anthology released in April 2022 by Big Finish Productions. It was the overall sixth release of The First Doctor Adventures. It featured Stephen Noonan as the First Doctor and Lauren Cornelius as Dodo Chaplet.

1.2 The Miniaturist by Lizzie Hopley
Coulton Salt Mine: a rare environment for geological exploration on the North Yorkshire coast. The Doctor is fascinated by the experiments of Professor Medra on the Zechstein seabed, but Dodo is distracted. Didn't her family settle in this part of Yorkshire?
As the Doctor delves deeper into the work of Professor Medra, Dodo is helped by security guard Mick Huff, who is concerned about the strange happenings in recent weeks. Who are the children that keep appearing around the mine workings? Why are local landmarks vanishing? And how can the bedrock of a geological 'quiet place' be screaming?

Notes
- This was the first release in The First Doctor Adventures not to star David Bradley, Claudia Grant, Jamie Glover and Jemma Powell. In fact, production-wise, it had little in common with previous releases under this banner.
- Accordingly, although The Outlaws was the sixth release in the series, the website and production codes marked this anthology as number 1 (BFP-DW-DR01-01, rather than BFP-DW-1STCD-06).
- The Outlaws is a four-part story, while The Miniaturist is a two-part story.
