Rename suggestion

The reason I gave this the name "President" rather than "Lord President" was due to the lack of specified gender, and the fact this president was only referred to by that title. This term isn't without precedent either, see: President (Birth of a Renegade), President (The Deadly Assassin), President (The Three Doctors). Danochy 18:25, December 3, 2019 (UTC)

The other unnamed presidents are Lord President (The Mark of the Rani), Lord President (The Sirens of Time), Lord President (The Great War) and Lady President (Supremacy of the Cybermen) for all the precedents. --Borisashton 18:37, December 3, 2019 (UTC)
Ooh, I didn't catch the lack of specified gender when I added the rename tag; though I still think we could use with a change in the name to make it more specific to "a Time Lord president" rather than "any human president". Perhaps President of the High Council (story title)? It's somewhat big, but idk. OncomingStorm12th 03:08, December 4, 2019 (UTC)
I agree there, and the same should apply to the pages I listed above. This also ties into Talk:Lord President, which I'm about to add my thoughts on just now. Danochy 05:07, December 4, 2019 (UTC)

Chronology

How is it that we're asserting where this President lies in the chronology? I took it that the President in this story is implied to be Romana. Unless there's evidence I don't remember, we can probably rework the lead to state just the facts we are directly given.

Here's the text I sourced the information from The Eleven from:
LIV: The highest authorities being…?
PADRAC: I’m effectively deputising for our President, in all but name.
LIV: The President’s not around?
PADRAC: Not currently, no. In these times, Gallifrey must venture outside itself, to forge alliances with alien powers. A leader best makes those commitments in person.
LIV: I saw, outside, in the Academy, there are aliens studying here.
PADRAC: Reforms of an earlier regime. In her first term of office, President Romanadvoratrelunda made many sweeping changes. She brought Gallifrey into a new age. LIV: I can’t imagine that was welcomed by all sides.
The part in bold is what I took as evidence that Romana is a) not this president, and b) preceded them. Furthermore, the fact this president died in Songs of Love, says to me it's not Romana. Danochy 05:07, December 4, 2019 (UTC)

Livia

General consensus seems to agree that the events of Doom Coalition occur between Enemy Lines (where Livia is made president) and Time War 1 (where Livia is still president).

Doesn't it make more sense to attribute the president from this era as simply being Livia rather than some anonymous interloper who is never named? Cptjackhotness 23:47, February 10, 2023 (UTC)
