Lord President (The Sirens of Time)
One President was the Lord President of Gallifrey during the Sirens of Time incident. (AUDIO: The Sirens of Time)
He later retired but was called back into office after one of his successors, Lady President Romana, went missing. He went to Archetryx as part of the Archetryx Convention, a conference on limiting time powers, before the Daleks through Etra Prime at it. He escaped and return to Gallifrey, just before a Monan Host deposition arrived seeking sanctuary. After the Celestial Intervention Agency's Coordinator Vansell persuaded him to let them land, he was tricked into allowing the Daleks on Gallifrey. Working with Romana and the Sixth Doctor to prevent Gallifrey falling to the Daleks, he was exterminated by them in the High Council chambers. (AUDIO: The Apocalypse Element)
According to a guide to Gallifreyan history written by a temporal tourism tour operator in the post-War universe, the President who stood in for Romana after her abduction was in fact "un-named", and a mere "figurehead". (PROSE: Gallifrey: A Rough Guide)
