Simon the Shy Cyberman was (WC: Peter Capaldi and Simon the Shy Cyberman Invite You to Breakfast with 7 Doctors) one of the many weapons-grade Cybermen created when a colony ship of Mondasians turned to Cyber-conversion to survive. Unlike his fellows, however, (TV: World Enough and Time, The Doctor Falls) Simon retained an individual name and emotions, additionally displaying no intention to harm the Twelfth Doctor. The Doctor befriended the Cyberman and told him about how, on Earth, the human race had turned his life into a science fiction series called Doctor Who.
