Ogilvy was a notable 19th century astronomer.
Biography
He, along with George, were some of the first to observe the Martians landing. He did not believe in intelligent extraterrestrial life, but when the Martians landed on Horsell Common, he and Henderson decided that they mmust be intelligent. He and Henderson attempted to make a truce with the Martians, but the Martians killed them. (COMIC: War of the Worlds)
