Lieutenant Purple
Lieutenant Purple was a member of Spectrum, Earth's primary defence against the Mysterons during the Mysteron War. With Lieutenant Peach, he was stationed at Cloudbase Control and was responsible for its piloting.
In 2067, Purple and Peach were ordered by Lieutenant Green to set Cloudbase on a new course for Canberra after Colonel White worked out that the Mysterons planned to crash it into Unity City. Along with the rest of Cloudbase's personnel except Captain Scarlet, who was recovering from a plane crash, Purple was later knocked unconscious when Captain Black sprayed the nearby clouds with D17 poison gas. Scarlet found Purple's body while investigating the seemingly deserted base and confirming that it was still on automatic pilot with all systems functioning normally.
