Colin Brake (born 1962) is a writer of many Doctor Who novels, audio stories, and short stories.

His ambition to become the next script editor for Doctor Who ended when the show was axed in 1989.

As of 2006, Brake lived in Leicester with his wife Kerry and their children, Cefn and Kassia.
