The Coyote Road was a 1990 neo-western film written by Sam Kneuppe.

As it was set in the 19th century, Faction Hollywood leader Michael Brookhaven wired the entire movie into that time period's causal nexus, leading to religious visions among Native Americans (PROSE: "Brookhaven's Follies" [+]Part of The Book of the War, Loading...{"namedep":"Brookhaven's Follies","1":"The Book of the War (novel)"}) including Wovoka, who witnessed a trailer for the film during a solar eclipse on 1 January 1888.
