Grace Clemetson

Grace Clemetson was Naomi Cross's paternal grandmother. She was in love with Samuel Clemetson but entered into a relationship with his best friend, Arnold Dacres, after he left Jamaica to study at the University of Cambridge and ceased communications.
Grace became pregnant with a daughter before Sam returned to Jamaica and Dacres decided that he could not take Grace from him. Grace decided to marry Sam, but Dacres first manipulated him into enlisting in the British West Indies Regiment to get him away long enough that her daughter's true parentage could be disguised.
