Kirkwood Farm

Kirkwood Farm was a primarily a Horse farm, but had become a venue also, due to the impressive tithe barn that was ideal for ceremonies and receptions. The owners had also began to lease small plots of land for business units and shipping container storage a few years before 2020, and Dorothy McShane had a long-running contract with them.
A signposted single-track road led to an electric iron gate, behind which was a long gravel drieveway with fields on either side. Near the farmhouse, the road forked, with one branch leading to around 40 red and white shipping containers neatly lined up on either side. (PROSE: At Childhood's End)
