A mop was a long instrument, used principally for cleaning in a process known as mopping, (PROSE: {{esquivalience}} [+]Loading...["Esquivalience (novel)","'\"`UNIQ--nowiki-00000004-QINU`\"'"], etc.) but which could on occasion be used as a martial arts weapon. When Rory Williams met the Eleventh Doctor following spending nearly two thousand years guarding the Pandorica, he noted that the Doctor was carrying a mop, just as he had been when Rory had started to guard it.
