St Cedd's College

St. Cedd's College was a college in Cambridge University, a respected institute of higher education on Earth.

Professor Chronotis had residency at St. Cedd's College for some time, residing in his rooms - which were, unbeknownst to all, his TARDIS. (DW: Shada)

The Fourth Doctor and Romana travelled there to visit Professor Chronotis in 1979, but were captured by a Time Scoop, and were unable to visit the professor - or even to recall that they had failed to do so. (DW: The Five Doctors, BFA: Shada)

Behind the Scenes

Douglas Adams reused St. Cedd's, along with the character of Professor Chronotis, for his novel Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. The Professor in Dirk Gently, though, is not identified as a Time Lord, nor is his time machine identified as a TARDIS.
