Continuity

• When the Doctor is talking to The Black Guardian at the beginning of the adventure, he mentions the pacts that the guardian made with Turlough, which was to kill the Doctor. (DW: Mawdryn Undead)
• The Black Guardian's associate, Djini, uses a targeting lure, ( a jawaki, as the Black Guardian calls it) to try and kill, The White Guardian, Prince Omar and Amy, however the Doctor realises that just as the Guardians powers are diminishing so are his ideas, as, he explains, is exactly the same tatic that Captain Wrack used to destroy other ships in the race for enlightenment. (DW: Enlightenment). Also both items used are peices of jewelery, here a necklace which Amy holds and in Enlightenment it is in Tegan's Tiarra.
