From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

I'm a fan of Science Fiction in general, and Doctor Who in particular.

I've been using the name Raukodraug on the net for almost 15 years. It comes from Tolkien's elvish meaning "Demon Wolf" and, as you might imagine, I have an affinity for the Bad Wolf storyline.

Biography

I started watching on my local PBS station when I was 9 and lamented when it went on "hiatus". I was excited to see the Doctor Who TV Movie (even had a bit of a party) and then was disappointed when a new show didn't come to fruition. I don't have cable, but I have Netflix, so I'm catching up on Nine and Ten, watching Eleven on the BBC iPlayer, and going back and watching all of the available older episodes... and I love it.

I'm also a fan of other Sci-fi & Fantasy shows including Firefly, Red Dwarf, Babylon 5, Stargate SG-1, Buffy, Angel, and even Voltron.

Wiki Experience

Quotes

Added as I watch the episodes:

The First Doctor

  • "There is no indignity in being afraid to die, but there is a terrible shame in being afraid to live." --Alydon, The Daleks

The Second Doctor

The Third Doctor

  • "Obviously the Time Lords have programmed the TARDIS always to return to Earth. It seems that I'm some sort of galactic yo-yo!" --The Doctor, The Claws of Axos

The Ninth Doctor

  • "You know what they call me in the ancient legends on the Dalek home world? "The Oncoming Storm". You might have removed all your emotions, but I reckon right down in your DNA there's one little spark left. And that's fear. Doesn't it just burn when you face me?" --The Doctor, The Parting of the Ways

The Tenth Doctor

  • "Oh, did you have to? 'No turning back.' That's almost as bad as, 'nothing can possibly go wrong' or 'this is going to be the best Christmas this orphanage has ever had.'" --The Doctor, The Impossible Planet
  • "The wonderful world of space travel... The prettier it looks, the more likely it is to kill you." --Riley Vashtee, 42
  • "People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect... but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly.... timey-wimey.... stuff." --The Doctor, Blink
  • "I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I'm 903 years old, and I'm the man who's gonna save your lives and all six billion people on the planet below. You got a problem with that?" --The Doctor, Voyage of the Damned
