Platform One was a space station, described as an observation deck, orbiting Earth in 5,000,000,000. Some of the richest and most powerful people in the Universe where Humans existed gathered there to witness the destruction of Earth. The Doctor took Rose Tyler there on her first trip in his TARDIS. It was staffed by Steward, the host, and several maintenance staff including Raffalo. The use of weapons, teleportation or religion was forbidden
