Gallifrey kills...
The President of the High Council wants Romana dead. The Temporal Intervention Agency has been dispatched to hunt her down. Its mission: to eliminate her from the timelines for ever. It would be as though she had never existed...
Only an old friend can offer Romana any hope of survival. An acquaintance she and Leela once shared. One they haven’t seen in years.
But time is running out. Death is fast approaching. And this time, not everyone can survive... with or without the Doctor.

Individuals
- Narvin mentions the Master.
- Leela is tortured by her counterpart, who was brought to Gallifrey to amuse the previous Lord President.
- In the alternative timeline, Interrogator General Leela was preceded by Narvin, whom she murdered to acquire the position.
- In the alternative timeline, the Doctor had to leave Gallifrey after challenging the Time Lord's non-interference policy, where he faced erasure from the timeline by his brother Braxiatel. Braxiatel was killed by the Doctor, who adopted that title, stole a TARDIS and fled Gallifrey to challenge the Time Lords' right to rewrite history. By the time that President Romana came to power, the Doctor had adopted the title "Lord Burner" and the role of the the President's personal temporal assassin who "burned" people from history, a role previously held by Braxiatel.
Notes
- This story marks the only appearance of Bernice Summerfield in the Gallifrey audio series.
- This is Colin Baker's second appearance in Gallifrey, given that he reprised his role as Commander Maxil from DW: Arc of Infinity in an uncredited cameo in BFG: Appropriation.
- This is the only episode of any of the Big Finish audio spin-off series in which any version of the Doctor plays a major role.
Continuity
- While in the alternative timeline, Romana gives Narvin the pseudonym "Fred", the name which the Fourth Doctor proposed to give her shortly after their first encounter. (DW: The Ribos Operation)
- As was the case with his counterpart in the proper timeline, the Burner Doctor was put on trial by his own people during his sixth incarnation. (DW: The Trial of a Time Lord)
- Romana previously met the Sixth Doctor from the proper timeline in BFA: The Apocalypse Element.
- Braxiatel tells of when he forced the Doctor to leave Gallifrey. He previously did this in BNA: Tears of the Oracle.
Timeline
- Disassembled occurs after BFG: Reborn
- Disassembled occurs before BFG: Annihilation (for the Time Lords) and NA: Theatre of War (for Braxiatel)
