Emma was a professional swimmer training for the Globe Games at BASE. She was ripped apart by a Rutan, who took her appearance and identity. "Emma" teamed up with the Tenth Doctor to defeat the Sontarans from the 12th Sontaran Battle Fleet. During the battle, the Rutan Emma was shot and killed by Sonataran General Stenx.
