- 1966 - Pre-filming for The Massacre began at Ealing Studios Stage 3. (TCH 7)
- 1967 - Pre-filming for The Web of Fear concluded on Ealing Studios Stage 3. (TCH 11)
- 2009 - After months of speculation since 26 October, actor Matt Smith was finally announced as the Eleventh Doctor, succeeding David Tennant's Tenth. This announcement was broadcast on BBC Three as Doctor Who Confidential episode The Eleventh Hour.
