Xander Vaughn was the man behind Red Doors. (AUDIO: Cardiff Unknown - October 2018) He wanted to liberate Cardiff from the Sorvix before ridding the city of racial minorities. He told Jack Harkness about how Red Doors killed Pete Bunton and Helen White. (AUDIO: The Empty Hand) As Jack's Red Doors contact, Yvonne Hartman kidnapped him and placed him in the boot of her car for "Gwen Cooper" and St John Colchester to find.
Orr gave Xander a truth serum and learnt of his connections with Jack. After successfully framing Jack, Yvonne retconned Xander, leaving an opening in Red Doors that she recommended Jack fill.
