Did "Meet the Fam!" not actually happen?
The way the dialogue is worded in part 1 suggested that the Doctor and her friends merely each have differing, incorrect memories of the alien amusement park in Meet the Fam!, as a side effect of the memory-wiping they went through prior to this story. The recap at the beginning of part 2, however, outright says the group were being "plagued by false memories of an alien amusement park", implying the "actual" events we saw in the FCBD special was in fact not real. This is very confusing. Were the events of Meet the Fam! just a false memory? WaltK ☎ 14:05, December 19, 2019 (UTC)
