Kurdistan

Kurdistan was a region of inner Asia (PROSE: The Book of the War) which was proximate to the Black Sea, Russia, Turkey, and Georgia. (PROSE: Trading Futures)

In the 19th and 20th centuries, the Yezidi people resided in Kurdistan. R. W. H. Empson and Richard Carnac Temple met the Yezidi there and wrote about them in A Short Account of the Yezidi Tribes of Kurdistan. (PROSE: The Book of the War)
