Jenny (Human Nature TV character)
- You may be looking for the character from the novel or other Jennys.
Jenny was one of the cleaning staff at Farringham School for Boys in 1913.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Jenny became good friends with Martha Jones, who became a maid to look after the Tenth Doctor, who had gone into hiding as a human. Jenny was one of the few that treated Martha in a friendly and equal way and found her modern attitude, or "notions", amusing.
Whilst riding her bicycle to work one day, Jenny was captured by the Family of Blood and her mind was consumed by Mother of Mine so she could possess Jenny's body, essentially killing her. Martha was greatly saddened by her friend's fate, (TV: Human Nature) but the Doctor did manage to exact a bit of justice for Jenny by trapping her murderer in an event horizon for all eternity. (TV: The Family of Blood)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
While there exists a Jenny in the original Human Nature novel, there exists very little commonality between the characters, apart from their names. Jenny, in the book, is a housewife who gets one line, and is never referenced again.
