  • This novelisation is based on the original television serial DW: The Faceless Ones which was shown from 8th April 1967 and written by David Ellis and Malcolm Hulke
  • The cover and information shown on the right is for the original Target novel and featured the artwork of David McAllistair. (See below for information on other UK and international editions which published with a different cover).

In the summer of 1966, thousands of young people are taking their holidays with Chameleon Tours. And not one of them is coming back.
