Morris column

The Baroque used a quantogram to disguise the Doctor's TARDIS as a Morris column with outdated advertisements, hidden alongside a genuine example, in 1940s Paris.

The Eighth Doctor recognised his TARDIS by reasoning that there should not have been two Morris columns side-by-side. This "stubborn" disguise lasted even after re-materialising.

The Doctor restored his TARDIS's police box appearance by disabling the quantogram using his sonic screwdriver, and later camouflaged a stage guillotine as a Morris column in order to deceive the Nazis into believing they had acquired the Doctor's "secret aircraft". (AUDIO: The Scapegoat)
