Anthony Shipley's parents

The parents of the Time Lord Anthony Shipley lived with him in Reigate, Surrey.

Anthony argued with his parents every Saturday about which television channel to watch at 6pm because Anthony wished to keep up with the Doctor's adventures. The publication of Dr Who Weekly solved this problem as it meant he could follow the Doctor's adventuring without watching the television at a particular time. Anthony explained all of this in a letter to Marvel Comics, with the Fourth Doctor replying by saying that a competition he had arranged that week which boasted a television as a prize was another possible way for both Anthony and his parents to watch what they wanted.
