Humanity, protected by the Space Security Service, fought a war with the Daleks. In 3994, humanity retook Caridos from the Daleks, capturing some of their Robomen. (COMIC: The Only Good Dalek) As the Eleventh Doctor recalled, he had worked with SSS agents Bret Vyon and Sara Kingdom. (COMIC: The Only Good Dalek) Indeed, the First Doctor had met both in 4000. (TV: The Daleks' Master Plan) At the Fall of Pythagoran, Tranter received a field promotion. At the Siege of Logario, Tranter was reported killed but was actually captured by the Daleks.
