Talk:Doctorin' the Tardis

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Lyrics[[edit source]]

Since there appears to be a bit of a mini-edit-war about whether this belongs in Category:Songs about the Doctor Who universe, here's a full list of the lyrics and samples (most of the samples are actually repeated as lyrics, but not all), with repetitions and nonsense words removed:

Doctor Who!
Hey! Doctor Who.
The TARDIS.
Doc, Doctor Who.
You wot?
Exterminate!
Bosh bosh bosh, loads of money.
We obey no-one.
We are the superior beings.
The Daleks.

So, is that about the Whoniverse? Or about Doctor Who, the TV series and phenomenon? Hell if I know. I suspect the "Bosh bosh bosh, loads of money" is about Bill and Jimmy using a TARDIS to travel a few months in the future to discover that they were writing what would become the most popular novelty song in history. :) --Falcotron 06:00, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Well...it mentions stuff from the Doctor Who universe. It really depends what you take from those lyrics and if they're actually telling you something through their lyrics / the samples about the Doctor Who universe.
Now that I look at it, maybe 'Songs about the Doctor Who universe' isn't really applicable to this and I'm Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek, they're both have Doctor Who themes and influence but neither are really about the Doctor Who universe. To contrast these with a song that is about the Doctor Who universe; Who is the Doctor is about the Doctor Who universe, it mentions elements of Doctor Who and places them within an understandable context.
I think move them into the more general category of 'Doctor Who music'. --Tangerineduel 12:12, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
