Such songs were recorded as tie-ins to Doctor Who and related series, but they never appeared in an episode. Songs actually featured within episodes should go in one of three other subcategories:
- If the song originated in the DWU, and appeared to be heard by characters in the narrative — like "The Ballad of the Last Chance Saloon" — it belongs in Category:Songs.
