Proper Dave was a human who lived in the 51st century. He was an explorer along with Strackman Lux, Other Dave and River Song. His flesh was stripped by the Vashta Nerada and he became the Suit Creature. He was the pilot of the expedition's spacecraft, before he was killed. (DW: Silence in the Library/ Forest of the Dead)
