1898 was a relatively important year for the community of Maiden's Point. On 12 January, Florence Sundvik died in the village. On 4 March, Mary Eliza Millington, a relative of Commander Millington, was born in Maiden's Point. She died thirteen days later. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
