The USS Lassiter was a starship in service of the Federation Starfleet in the mid to late 24th century. The Lassiter, along with the USS Potemkin, was one of the first two Starfleet vessels to respond to the the Borg/Cybermen invasion of Delta IV. It was destroyed almost immediately. Though not seen in any great detail, the ship appeared to be of the Excelsior class, perhaps most famous as the kind of ship Hikaru Sulu eventually captained in Star Trek VI.
