Romana connection
I removed this section as completely speculative and not supported by anything on screen. It was one of many different pieces of speculation about the character, utterly rendered moot by the final episode. It's possible a "Behind the scenes" section could be crafted detailing some of the speculation about the character, but statements like "Noble means president" and somehow linking that to Romana ... it just comes off too weak, especially for an in-universe biographical article. 23skidoo 05:00, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Time lord?
It would be nice to see some form of speculation as to whether Donna is a Time lord as there is screen evidence (the constant flaunting of her black ring in the series four finale) Donna is a major character so an expansion of this page wouldn't go amiss The master's friend 20:08 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- the clone doctor can't regenerate so did that ability go to Donna. If it did, there are no accounts of a regeneration in to any thing but a time lord, ergo donna will become a full time lord and be abel to handle the doctor knowledge then her head explode (yeah!!!)71.60.204.114 00:28, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- With regards to "The End of Time, Part One" - I can't shake the idea that Davies just fanned the speculative flames surrounding Donna's "race" with the issue of the Immortality Gate; it was specifically stated that its target genetic template was human, yet Donna was completely unaffected by it... though neither was Wilfred, but he can be explained away due to being in the radiation-shielded booth. The only clue to what's going on that we have besides that is the fact that she began to remember everything, from Davros straight back to the incident under the River Thames. Perhaps it's a bit premature to close the book on the possibility of her being a (possibly amnesiac) Time Lady? ZackZero 04:36, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
- I'm betting it's probably an after-effect of the events of Journey's End that gave her some of the Doctor's energy. Or, alternately, it could be simply the Artron energy from her travels in the TARDIS (c.f. Doomsday). Monkey with a Gun 05:58, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
Race
It's incorrect to list her as "Time Lady". For one thing she'd slug anyone who called her that, but more important she only ever refers to herself as "half-Time Lord". Not Lady. And the half is important. She's still primarily human. She didn't suddenly grow a second heart; only her intellect was affected. 23skidoo 05:35, 29 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, but she was still made half-Time Lord and the Doctor erased her memories to protect her. He may not have been able to erase her Time Lord half so that could have protected her and it was probably triggered again by the event as the Doctor feared would happen someday.--WarGrowlmon18 17:43, December 29, 2009 (UTC)

Irrelevant, as this occurred after the events of Runaway Bride. She was already well aware of the Racnoss and The Doctor.
Temple-Noble?
Shouldn't this article be named Donna Temple-Noble in light of her wedding. Wilf specifically says that he name will be Donna Temple-Noble when she marries Shaun. I mean you do have Martha Smith-Jones, just do it for consistencys sake. 134.225.177.223 07:13, March 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes it should, and it now is. However, the "Smith-Jones defense" is possibly the weakest one you could have offered up, because Martha was never known as "Smith-Jones" in any narrative of which I'm aware. That derives from the credits and other out-of-universe material. No, the rationale for "Donna Temple-Noble" is the same we used for "Jo Grant", and the converse of the argument accepted by the community to prevent "Gwen Cooper" from becoming "Gwen Williams". The basic rule of thumb is that if it's in the narrative that a person's name changes after marriage then the article name changes, too. See Tardis:Manual of Style#General Guidelines and the linked forum and talk page discussions.

For some reason the info box on the Turn Left universe Donna also calls her Temple-Noble even though she never knew Shaun in that world. I tried to edit ti to fix this but in the editor she is just DOnna Noble... can someone who knows how fix this? 219.90.209.61talk to me 15:22, April 1, 2012 (UTC)
- Fixed it. Someone erroneously used "individual name=" instead of just "name=", so the template defaulted to the name of the page itself. Should be all set now. d ●•· 15:26, April 1, 2012 (UTC)
