(PROSE: Blood and Hope) On the 14th, Lincoln was mortally wounded in Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. by John Wilkes Booth. In 1999, an employee of a hospital in San Francisco obtained a Wild Bill Hickok costume to wear at a New Year's Eve party.
