On 17 October 1814, the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams visited London. Amy left the Doctor and Rory in a pub so that they could bond while she went sightseeing. Instead, they decided to use the TARDIS to skip ahead a few hours, while Amy encountered an agent of the Silence and became caught in the London Beer Flood.
During the same adventure, the Doctor and Rory visited London during the Blitz on this same day in 1940. While there, they saved Ian Fleming from a bomb and became the inspiration for James Bond. (COMIC: The Doctor and the Nurse)
