The Weakest Link is a television quiz show broadcasted in the early 21st century hosted by Anne Robinson. It was later adapted for other countries around the world, each in their own language with their own host, however they all bore some resemblance to Anne Robinson, in the clothes they wore, or even their hair styles. It is unknown why the Gamestation chose the name Anne, rather than another international name. The 10th Doctor actor David Tennant also entered the programme in real life.

On Satelitle Five(which was now known as "The Gamestation") in the201st centuryit was remade by the Bad Wolf Corporation and hosted by the Anne Droid, which was similar to the original show although the "Weakest Links" were apparently disintegrated by the robot and there are six players instead of nine. Although it was believed that the losers died, they were in fact trasmatted to the hidden Dalek fleet for processing into Daleks of Human Origin. (DW: Bad Wolf)

The rules for the game in real life

  • First of all, you need to be 18 years old or older to be a participant.
  • There is a clock, which times up to 2 minutes. The host says 'Start the clock' to start the clock.
  • There are 9 players who first introduce themselves, then the game begins.
  • The questions come to each player according to their names, in alphabetic order.
  • When a player answers a question correctly, money is 'chained' to the money chain.
  • When an answer is incorrect, the chain is broken and the 'money meter' is set to zero.
  • To prevent the money from disappearing, a player has to say 'Bank' to add the chain money to the bank.
  • The questions come to each player according to their names, in alphabetic order.
  • When timing finishes, the players write down who they think were 'weak'. During this time, the narrator says who was the strongest link, and who was the weakest, unknown to the players.
  • The players announce the people they think who were weak. The majority wins, and the weakest link gets nothing.
  • By counting down like this, in the last round, there will be 2 people left.
  • Just because there are 2 people, 5 questions will be asked to each player.
  • If the 2 players tie, then a challenge round is offered. This time, there is not timer, but if a player gets a question wrong, then the person loses.
  • Thus, the remaining person is the strongest link.
