Julian Milton was a young, red-headed resident of Perivale in the 1980s and Ace's friend. He was a few years older than her. They had met when fifteen-year-old Ace had ducked into a pub to avoid Midge.
One day in September, Ace and Julian took a trip to Lincolnshire and walked around the Lincoln Cathedral talking. Later, as they were preparing to return home, Ace noticed a road on the map that seemed to lead nowhere. They drove down it and found it led to a prison. (PROSE: Love and War)

In 1987, Ace and Julian planned to get away together for a week. She had packed supplies and clothes on the day the time storm sent her to Iceworld.
