Some troll going around wikis cyberbullying to destroy people's work
In the episode, it kept referring to Clara as The Doctor's boyfriend. At the end Missy said she was The Doctor's boyfriend. It is important to note that Clara has brown eyes and Missy has blue. It's an important clarification. The first time Shambala108 removed it saying "speculation" and so I had to remove why it was relevant and now you just remove it for "irrelevant". You just like destroying people's hard work on wikis--wikis are full of trolls like you who sit around doing nothing but harassing innocent people. You never do anything to help, you just hurt innocent people! Why don't you stop bullying people? OrmiaOchracea ☎ 19:43, August 29, 2014 (UTC)
- Don't worry your not the only one. I added infoboxs to most of the characters in Deep Breath but then this Shambala just deleted everything I added. Someone should report Shambala108 to an admin to get him banned. Lewody1 ☎ 20:13, August 29, 2014 (UTC)
Lewody1, I will address your comments on your talk page, as they are off topic.
OrmiaOchracea, I explained on your talk page, but I will do so more clearly here. I completely understand the point you are trying to make. I am removing it because the fact that two different characters say they're the Doctor's boyfriend does not mean the author is implying that they are the same person, so there's no need to clarify anything.
I don't know if you're aware of it, but a little while ago several scripts were leaked. We have a very strict spoiler policy, so I have to remove anything that looks suspicious. Making any kind of connection between Clara and Missy is at least speculation, but could be a spoiler (I don't know, I haven't read the leaked scripts). For the sake of the spoiler policy, I'd rather be safe than sorry. If you would like to discuss the eye color/boyfriend topic, you can do so at Howling:The Howling, but do not add it to the Missy or Deep Breath pages again.
As for your ending comments, I will address those on your talk page. Shambala108 ☎ 22:23, August 29, 2014 (UTC)
Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere
Is referring to Missy as Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere against the spoiler policy, if she has specifically been called this name in broadcast behind the scenes footage (Doctor Who Extra), even if it has not been used in an actual episode? Firgured I'd be better off checking before deleting the Behind The Scenes section.

- Because of the leaked scripts, we are taking a bit more care in not allowing information about characters/events that are not mentioned in story. I have no idea if it's a spoiler or not, but am erring on the side of caution. Shambala108 ☎ 20:34, August 31, 2014 (UTC)
Also a trend for now
The article mentions that the entities collected by Missy "had spent their last moments speaking to the Doctor about their imminent deaths". I find it much more interesting that they were both persuaded into suicide by him. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.14.73.22 (talk • contribs) .
Article-name-change
Since Missy has now appeared in 3 episodes of Series 8, should the article's name be changed from "Missy (Deep Breath)" to "Missy (Series 8)"? --DCLM ☎ 18:04, September 28, 2014 (UTC)
- See Tardis:Characters with one name. Shambala108 ☎ 18:08, September 28, 2014 (UTC)
Who I think Missy is
Is it okay if we speculate on who Missy could be? As kind of a fun topic?<-removed as potential spoilers (X) ->

Merge
I don't think that this page should be merged with the master because the Doctor and Romana have a page for each incarnation why can't Delgado, Ainley, Roberts, McQueen, Jacobi, Simm and Gomez have their own pages. Lewody1 ☎ 21:16, November 1, 2014 (UTC)
- We will wait until the series finishes to make a decision. It was decided that one page should be used for the Master long ago.--Skittles the hog - talk 21:18, November 1, 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah. I don't really think each incarnation of the Master/Mistress should have their own articles. The Doctor have an article for each incarnation because each incarnation have been given individual names, plus he have one article answering to them all. The Master hasn't got a different name for each incarnation, except for the new Missy/Mistress. But if we don't merge the pages I don't think these new appearances should be added to "The Master" article. --DCLM ☎ 21:44, November 1, 2014 (UTC)
- However, maybe the Master/Mistress still call him/herself the Master, and Missy/Mistress was ONLY for keeping the whole identity a secret. --DCLM ☎ 21:46, November 1, 2014 (UTC)
Adding to the article
Now that the page has been locked it is completely impossible to add different information answering only to the Missy character (not having the confusement with the Master in mind), such as her appearance in Dark Water and so on... --DCLM ☎ 11:44, November 2, 2014 (UTC)
- It's only for a week (less than that now). Many users won't read Thread:164874 before editing and this is the best way to keep things from becoming a mess. There are plenty of other areas of the wiki that need attention; this is only one page out of forty thousand and there's no need to rush. Shambala108 ☎ 14:18, November 2, 2014 (UTC)
Appearances
I understand that you have locked the "Missy (Deep Breath)" page to prevent editing for the next week, however one crucial appearance has been missed from her infobox (if that's what it's called). Just a suggestion, but we should also add Missy's role in "Dark Water" (maybe aside from the final scene) to the page. Layton4 14:48, November 2, 2014 (UTC)
MISSY IS THE MASTER

Missy The Time Lady
I find it odd that people are actually arguing that Missy is not the Master, given that all evidence points to them being one in the same. I'm sure if he regenerated as a guy, we wouldn't be having this conversation... you sexist pigs!
I kid of course, but honestly I have no idea why this is even a debate. Especially given that she acts just like The Master, or more specifically, Ainley's Master. Sneaky, conniving, and psychotic. She's also implied that the two of them have quite a bit of history with her 'boyfriend' line.
But whatever, I'll let that go. At the very least, however, is it not confirmed that she's a Time Lord/Lady? I mean, she has a Time Lord harddrive, which she's using for the Nethersphere, and The Doctor felt her heart and later said, 'yeah, there are two!' So, why is she called 'Humanoid'? Are people in that much denial? Can someone explain this to me? - BlackWidower ☎ 02:00, November 3, 2014 (UTC)
- Please note that this issue has been addressed in Thread:164874. We are erring on the side of caution in case Moffat pulls a fast one on us, as he has done in the past. No one is arguing against the evidence; we're trying to prevent the necessity of changing/removing a lot of information if Moffat throws another plot twist at us.
- During the rest of the week, there is going to be some conflicting info as people add some things and others change/remove it (like your humanoid/Time Lord question). All we can do is wait to see what Saturday reveals, and then, once we know where he's headed, we can correct the articles in question. Shambala108 ☎ 02:07, November 3, 2014 (UTC)
Just Wanting to Know
I read an article at The Huffington Post that the revelation of who Missy was didn't come as a surprice. Personally I was literally jaw dropped. What I'm wondering is did anyone else see this coming? [unsigned comment]– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 73.164.228.99 (talk).

Knowing
If Missy really IS the Master, wouldn't the Doctor be able to know it? I mean, that is what Time Lords can. The Tenth Doctor himself said that he would know who the Master was shortly after he changed from his old man/Yana form/disguise.
And I do agree that Missy might be a Time Lady as she has definitely dealt with the Doctor before as she was able to know who he was. My guess would still be the Rani. --DCLM ☎ 14:30, November 3, 2014 (UTC)

So...
I might be missing something here, but why the separate article? I highly doubt that the next episode will start with Missy going "naw just kidding, I'm totaly just a new charecter". I agree that anything could happen, but does it really seems likely to anyone that this big reveal was just a big lie? The chances of that aren't big enough to have a whole separate article about Missy.– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 109.67.13.227 (talk • contribs) .
- It might be unlikely, but there are two days left until we will get further information. Until then, the pages are separate and locked.--Skittles the hog - talk 20:15, November 6, 2014 (UTC)
- That was a precaution that was taken by several users on TDC to keep them seperate and lock the pages because it was a single throw-away line from Missy at the conclusion of the episode that simply isn't enough to conclude several theories that people might have. So we agreed to keep them seperate and lock them to prevent back and forth edit-warring on several pages, namely "Missy (Deep Breath)", "The Master" and "The Master - list of appearances". They will all be unlocked at 9.00 PM this Saturday (the normal time for new episodes's addition to TDC. --DCLM ☎ 20:28, November 6, 2014 (UTC)
Well, I wouldn't be so specific about the unlock time. They'll be unlocked when someone remembers to do so, quite frankly. Also, 9:00 isn't the usual time for adding new episodes. Tardis policy says it is the top or bottom of the hour following the end of the broadcast.--Skittles the hog - talk 20:35, November 6, 2014 (UTC)

Missy is Master - MINISPOILER FOR DEATH IN HEAVEN
I saw the early screening of Death in Heaven, and Missy is confirmed Master. Since Missy told Doctor at the end of Dark Water, We can merge the pages without breaking spoiler policy.
