In the Doctor Who universe
- Kathy Nightingale and Sally Sparrow discussed their own series of adventures, to be called "Sparrow and Nightingale", and suggested it air on ITV. (TV: Blink)
- An ITV reporter was present at the Silurian conference. (AUDIO: The Coup)
- When the Eleventh Doctor saved Albert Hall from being blown up, one of the side effects noted was that ITV went off air. (Doctor Who at the Proms (2010))
Attack of the Graske
The Tenth Doctor referenced ITV in the story, NOTDWU: Attack of the Graske, when addressing the player, seemingly breaking the fourth wall. He told them not to use the TV remote control, which was recently disconnected from the sonic screwdriver, to switch over to ITV, lest the galaxy imploded.
With the complications from the player with a digital remote being a companion in the DWU, as well as Graske having multiple endings, it is disqualified as being a valid DWU source.
