Nevada was a state of the United States of America.

Geography

The border of Nevada was located within 200 miles of that of Mexico. (TV: A Town Called Mercy) Much of the state was covered in desert. (TV: Dreamland)

History

In 1870, the town of Mercy was in danger of starvation after the arrival of Kahler-Jex, who was being hunted by his cyborg Kahler-Tek for war crimes. Around its border, a line of rocks was placed so that no one could escape or enter. (TV: A Town Called Mercy)

In 1958, the Tenth Doctor arrived in Dry Springs, where he met and befriended Cassie Rice and Jimmy Stalkingwolf at Cassie's mother's diner. Following a short fight with agents of the Alliance of Shades and a Viperox battle drone, the trio were taken to Area 51. (TV: Dreamland)

In 2001, Pierre-Yves Dudoin attempted to break the land-speed record in the Nevada desert. (PROSE: Escape Velocity)
